INGREDIENTS

 

  • 1 lb of ground beef
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced    
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Corn tortillas
  • Oil for frying

For the Salsa:

 

  • 3 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste

 

 

Step To Make Tacos Hondurenos

Step – 1

Cook the meat until it became browned and crumbled in a big skillet on high heat. 

Step – 2

Add the cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, red and green bell peppers, garlic, onion, and all of the ingredients. cook until the vegetables are soft.

Make the salsa while the beef mixture is cooking.

add the tomatoes, onion, green bell pepper, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Set aside after thoroughly mixing.
